For nearly two decades, Arturo has used his leadership and experience to bring people together on important challenges impacting communities across the nation. Arturo has emerged as a communications expert, public spokesperson, political strategist, policy analyst, and community organizer with an established expertise in the evolving political, cultural, and demographic trends in the US. He is recognized as a change-agent, strategic communicator, community leader, and coalition builder. 

His leadership, management, and strategic communications skills have made him a recognized leader and spokesperson on behalf of the Latino community and working families across the US. He has appeared in many news stories, interviews, and political discussions through outlets such as MSNBC, ABC, CNN, Time Magazine, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Univision, Telemundo, USA Today, NPR, La Opinion, and many others. Hispanic Magazine honored him with the Hispanic Achievement Award and called him “one of the most influential leaders in the country.”  

As an established communications and public affairs policy leader, Arturo serves as the Managing Partner of Tzunu Strategies and heads the Latino Media Collaborative. He represents several international, national, and regional corporations, organizations, campaigns, and foundations in the US and Latin America. His recent experiences include serving as the current Sr. Strategy Advisor to ImpreMedia - the largest Latino print, digital, and news organization in the US - as well as serving as a Digital Media and Strategic Communications Advisor to the Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador for President campaign (Mexico) and the Deputy Political Director for the Bernie Sanders for President campaign. He currently sits on numerous boards and has served in a number of roles including working in the California State Legislature, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), the Executive Director of Presente.org and as the founding Executive Director of the Council of Mexican Federations (COFEM).

Arturo loves to travel with his family in his free time and loves to take his daughter to tennis and theater classes.
